I guess I should preface this with:

The song titles are the things that were on my mind when making the music. Sometimes the music and the title seem like they go together, sometimes they don't. It's better to not overthink it.

1. Pickled Carrots - Pretty straightforward, eh? Slap these bois on a bahn mi and you are good to go! This was the first song I made for this collection, way back in February. I must have felt inspired or something because it is legitimately one of my favs of all time.

2. Charger - Like a phone charger, you know? Haha, I think the DS was low on juice and I couldn't find the charger. This was one of the last songs made and I did not mean for it to fit with the previous one but.... I guess it is what it is.

3. Meet Up - In my journey to take care of myself, there was a lot of "hey let's hang out". That's it. That's the tweet.

4. Ice Pellets - How come it snows and ices here? It's the most annoying of the weather types.

5. Production - You know, when I make these collections of tunes, I usually get into the zone and make like 3 - 4 at a time. It feels like I go into this mode of just "crank em out" This time, there was none of that. I just kind of made em whenever. There was definitely a couple of times where I tried and could not get into the groove.

6. Springtime - The fact that it's the middle of winter and the song is called spring time doesn't mean that I want it to be that time of year. It's because this song has been sitting on a cartridge for almost a year, haha

7. Sweet Egg - I must have eaten a sweet egg at some restaurant at some point. I cannot remember where or when, but that's the only explanation for this song title.

8. Yee-hoo! - I wanted to make a song that had a western/country feel. I don't know why. I legitimately have no idea. It just is this way.

9. Sizzle - Another remnant of early this year. Sizzle season was like... March in Splatoon? Maybe summer. I don't remember but it was a while ago. Like I mentioned, these songs sat for a WHILE.

10. Balcony Tune - I don't remember when it was, but the weather was nice so Alyssa and I sat outside on the balcony and just existed for a bit. She was doodling and I was making this tune.

11. Large Bread - I really wanna know what compelled me to make this song and why it has this name. I would love a large bread, it sounds like heaven. Also, the "chorus" part of this song is my favorite moment on this whole collection. I played it back and I legit felt like someone else made that. No way I could have made it. My proudest moment on this collection.

12. 27 Days - In November I think I worked around 27 of the 30 days. That's exhausting.

13. Awaiting Ice - This is a song made to replicate the sound and feel of a track called "Awaiting Snow" from a couple collections back. I'm currently working on a GarageBand version of Snow and so the tune has been stuck in my head. Since I couldn't get it out, this track was born.

14. Target Acquired - I have no idea what or why.

15. Eternal Rest - my baby girl Cosmo passed away this year. This one is for her.

16. See Ya! - this is the last track, this is the last day of the year, this is it. Thanks for everything! (by the way this song came out FANTASTIC in my opinion)
